Education loans are available to members and, principally, to the children of members: school education including Plus II, college, postgraduate study, nursing, and vocational courses approved by the Central and West Bengal state governments. Loans of up to Rs 3 lakh are provided at reasonable rates of interest.
Repayment begins one year after a course finishes, or six months after securing a job — whichever comes first.
Usha also enables access to education, sports and hostel facilities supporting the wider development of members’ children.
